HARRISON, N.Y. -- Friends and members of the Harrison community have set up a memorial fund for Alissa and Deanna Hochman, who were killed by their father in an apparent double murder-suicide on Feb. 21.
Harrison EMS set up the gofundme.com account and say all proceeds will go directly to the surviving members of the Hochman family, mother Anamarie DiPietro-Hochman, and their oldest daughter, Samantha Hochman.
Harrison EMS set a goal to raise $25,000 and as of 2 p.m., $22,935 had been raised in just 16 hours.
