HARRISON, N.Y. -- A Harrison teacher nominated for a Grammy award tops the news in Harrison this week.
- Harrison High School band director Ferdinand Pasqua was named a quarterfinalist for the Music Educator Award, presented by the Grammy Foundation and the Recording Academy. The award will be given to a teacher who demonstrates a commitment to maintaining music education.
- The Westchester County Airport in Harrison may undergo some renovations. The Board of Legislators will vote next week on improvements to a terminal and taxiway.
- A man wanted in Harrison for driving without a license was arrested in Tuckahoe. Brandon Lawrence was taken into custody after hitting a parked car, according to police.
