HARRISON, N.Y. -- The arrest of two White Plains men tops this week's news in Harrison.

  • Two men were arrested on felony drug charges in Harrison. According to police reports, the men were pulled over for a routine traffic violation and officers found more than $20,000 worth of illegal drugs in their car.
  • Harrison rower Lily Lindsay was selected to be a member of the USRowing National Team. She will compete in the 2013 World Rowing Junior Championships in Lithuania from Aug. 7-11.
  • Democratic candidates Catherine Parker and Tom Murphy debated this week for the party's nomination for a seat on the Westchester Board of Legislators. Among the topics discussed were flood mitigation, property taxes and the policies of County Executive Rob Astorino.
