HARRISON, N.Y. - Angelo "Charlie" Straface, Jr., a former Harrison firefighter, died Oct. 18 at the age of 76.
Son of the late Angelo C. and Nettie Straface, he was born on Dec. 20, 1934. Mr. Straface served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and went on to work as a firefighter for the Harrison Fire Department for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife Andrea Straface, his son Charlie Straface with his wife Lisa, his daughter Susan Volpe with her husband Alfred and five grandchildren. Straface was predeceased by his brother Joseph Straface.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck. The funeral mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Gregory the Great Church in Harrison. Interment will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
