New York Bagel Authority, 24 Cedar St., Dobbs Ferry: A few days ago on yelp Marc S. of Pleasantville posted, "This Brooklyn raised boy knows his bagels. No question NYBA rates five stars plus....Their bagels are hand made, water boiled, and baked perfect. Easily tops in Westchester. Get a flagel with butter you'll be happy you did."

Goldberg's Famous Bagels & Deli, 777 Central Park Ave., Yonkers: Says Jaclyn W., of New York City: "Amazing flagels (flat bagels) and bagels. We stop here whenever we are in the area, even if we aren't hungry for the fresh bagels. The guys who work there are super friendly and kind. Everything is good. One of the best bagels left in the NYC area!"

The Bagel Loft, 307 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe: In her review on yelp, Meghan R. of Mount Vernon said she was, "reminded me of a Long Island Bagel store (where I am originally from) with many options of Bagels and Cream cheese, as well as a nice breakfast and lunch menu. Bagels came out quick, and were hard on the outside, soft on the inside: which is key for a good bagel."

Park Place Bagels, 9 Park Place, Bronxville:  Says Paul G. of Bronxville on a yelp post, "Best bagels in town? Try best bagels I've ever had anywhere. And I grew up in the city. The sandwiches and different spreads are always fresh and out of this world. The line is frequently out the door but with their abundant, friendly and attentive staff things run along quickly and smoothly. The owner Claudio is one of the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet. I have been going there since he opened about 25 years ago and Claudio is like a family member."

Highridge Bagels, 415 Central Park Ave., Hartsdale: Yelper Keng J. of Putnam Valley posted that, "The everything bagel with the vegetable cream cheese is amazing! Must try. I'm glad I dribbled upon this (place) and the walnut raisin is amazing as well if you are into something sweet."
