Book Talk For Adults: 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. The West Harrison Library is hosting a book discussion group. This month's book is "The Best of Me" by Nicholas Sparks.
Fundraiser for Michael Falkenstern: 7 p.m. Friends of the late Michael Falkenstern, a Department of Public Works employee, will hold a fundraiser to benefit his family at the Oakland Grill, 385 Halstead Ave., Harrison.

Computer Orientation: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. The Harrison Public Library will hold a computer orientation class for the library catalog and the Internet, 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.
Academic Help: 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Tutors will be available at the Harrison Public Library to help kids with their schoolwork, 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.
