Open Play: 10 a.m. to noon. Parents, grandparents, caregivers and kids can come meet each other, read and play. Blocks and preschool Legos are available for kids to play with while parents chat. Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Ave.
Saturday, March 23
Harrison Recreation Egg Hunt: 11 a.m. Harrison Recreation hosts this egg hunt for children ages two through eight. Bring your own baskets and bags, and awards will be given to the biggest, prettiest, most colorful and most original. Peter Rabbit will make a special appearance, so bring your cameras. Ron Belmont Pool Complex, 9 Cassarela Way.
Sunday, March 24
"The Dynamiter" Screening: 2 p.m. The library hosts a screening of "The Dynamiter." This film tells the story of a 14-year-old boy who must care for his half-brother when their mother runs off. A discussion of the film will follow. Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Ave.
