The Times story said Starwood Capitol Group wants to build a $300 million, mixed used development on a former hospital campus near Interstate 287. The project would include 700 housing units.

But some residents want to know what's in it for Port Chester. The Sustainable Port Chester Alliance is calling for Starwood to commit to a community benefits agreement, which could include a labor agreement with local construction workers, a mandated percentage of affordable housing and local hiring standards.
