HARRISON, N.Y. -- Wegmans is one step closer to being Harrison's next supermarket.
The Harrison Planning Board unanimously voted Tuesday night to allow Wegmans, which will be located at 106-110 Corporate Park Drive, near the I-684/I-287 junction, to skip a full environmental review process. The project was first announced last December.
The town board is expected to vote on a zoning change for the project on May 5. The town hopes the supermarket will open in fall 2019.
Wegmans, which was founded 100 years ago, currently has 92 stores in the Northeast.
