Threat Discovered Written On Bathroom Wall At Irvington High School
There will be an increased police presence at a Westchester high school after “an unsettling message” was found written in a bathroom. On Thursday, Jan. 30, a student alerted administrators at Irvington High School that there was a message stating “Don’t come tomorrow” that had been written on a bathroom wall, Schools Superintendent Kirstopher Harrison said. Threat To Northern Westchester School Came From Out Of State, Police Say
Police identified the origin Monday of a Twitter threat the led to the closure of The Harvey School in Katonah on Friday. "The investigation revealed the threat originated from an out-of-state source although a suspect has not been identified at this time," Bedford Police Lt. Vincent Gruppuso said. In addition, due to jurisdictional boundaries, the Bedford Police Department contacted the FBI’s joint terrorism task force for assistance.
