Death Of Westchester Toddler Being Treated As A Homicide, Report Says Police are investigating the “suspicious” death of a toddler found dead in an apartment on Monday night as a homicide, according to an NBC New York report. The 2-year-old was found inside the Esplande Gardens apartment complex in Mount Vernon by his mother at approximately 8 p.m. on Monday, according to officials. He was reportedly found unresponsive by his mother, who rushed him to a local hospital, where he later was pronounced dead.
