GREENBURGH, N.Y. The Woodlands boys basketball team rebounded from a loss to Dobbs Ferry earlier in the week to deliver a strong performance Wednesday in a convincing 80-41 victory over Edgemont.
The Falcons (13-4), who split the two-game season series with highly-ranked Dobbs Ferry, had won six straight games before falling to the Eagles Monday. Woodlands completes the regular season this weekend before heading into the Section 1 playoffs next week.
Woodlands carried 12 players on its roster and 10 of them scored points in the game. Justin Smith scored a season-high 20 points while Andre Scipio tossed in 12 points and Fred Bowers added 10 for the Falcons.
The Falcons rushed to a 28-10 lead after one quarter and led 45-18 at halftime before extending their lead to 69-21 after three quarters.
