GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Dads, grandfathers, uncles and other significant men showed up en masse Tuesday morning at the Greenburgh Central School District to take their child to school.
The annual event at Greenburgh also featured police officers and firemen turning out in droves to support the dads and the children whose significant males could not make the event.
RJ Bailey Principal Kiana Washington brought her own father to the event. The event was followed by a Dads and Donuts session at the Warburg Mansion, where Superintendent of Schools Tahira DuPree Chase and Board of Education President David Warner spoke to fathers about the district's 2017-18 initiatives.
