Woman Pepper-Sprayed, Robbed On Hoboken Street, Police Say

A pair of men pepper-sprayed a woman before stealing her backpack on a Hoboken street Wednesday night, authorities said.

The woman was walking alone around 9:05 p.m., on Bloomfield Avenue between 12th and 13th streets when she was sprayed,  police said.

The woman was walking alone around 9:05 p.m., on Bloomfield Avenue between 12th and 13th streets when she was sprayed,  Lt. Danilo Cabrera told NJ.com.

The young men then snatched her bag and fled south, Cabrera said.

One assailant was wearing a black winter coat, black pants with a white stripe down the side and white sneakers, and the other had on a black hoodie, black winter coat, black pants and black sneakers, police said.
