HARTSDALE, N.Y. -- Greenburgh police responded to an accident on Saturday morning involving a car and a motorcycle driven by a police officer from Yonkers.
Greenburgh Police Chief Chris McNerney said the accident involved a city of Yonkers police officer on a motorcycle.
"I believe the officer sustained a broken wrist when he maneuvered (and went down) to avoid hitting a car that turned in front of him," McNerney said on Sunday.
Police did not release the names of either driver. No tickets were issued.
