First responders were dispatched to a Highland Avenue home in Eastchester that broke out in the afternoon on Monday, July 15.

Crews from the Eastchester Police Department, Eastchester EMS, New Rochelle, Scarsdale and Greenville fire departments all responded to the scene and were able to knock down the flames and limit the damage done to the structure of the home.

No injuries were reported, and the home is believed to be habitable after extensive remediations are complete.
