Police: Man Charged With DWI In Greenburgh Stop Had BAC Twice Legal Limit

A man who police say drove in Westchester with a BAC twice the legal limit has been charged with DWI.

New York State Police say they stopped a vehicle on I-287 in the town of Greenburgh for a violation on Thursday, Sept. 5 around 10:15 p.m.

Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Wilfre Jimenez, 30, of Waterbury, Connecticut, was found to be intoxicated, police say.

Jimenez was arrested, transported and processed at SP New Rochelle, where his BAC was tested at .23.

Jimenez was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor, as well as multiple vehicle and traffic violations. He was turned over to a sober third party and is scheduled to appear in court on a future date.
