HARTSDALE, N.Y. -- Authorities responded to a brushfire reported in the vicinity of Lakeview Avenue in Hartsdale on Monday at 12:30 p.m., according to officials.
A large area of brush went up in flames near the Metro-North tracks. Mutual aid was dispatched to help extinguish the blaze, authorities said.
A two-mile stretch of track north of the Hartsdale train station has been shut down until the fire is under control.
