GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Greenburgh Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding a suspect who used a gun to rob the front desk of Springhill Suites in the Tarrytown section of the township on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m..
Police said a black male armed with a handgun entered the lobby of the hotel and confronted the two desk clerks demanding money. The clerks turned over an undetermined amount of cash at which time he fled the lobby towards White Plains Road, according to police. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as about 5-foot-10, medium build, approximately 20 years old, wearing a dark colored waist length jacket with the hood up over his head, jeans, sneakers and gloves.
Greenburgh Detectives are currently investigating this robbery and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 914-989-1700.
