Seen Him? Westchester Man Steals From Gas Station, Police Say

Police in the Hudson Valley are asking for help in finding a Westchester man who they say stole from a gas station along with a woman. 

Police released the above image of Balil Bashir, estimated to be around 23 years old, who allegedly stole from a BP gas station in Brewster on Route 22.

The theft happened in Putnam County on Saturday, May 20 around 4 a.m., when two suspects allegedly stole beer and water from a BP gas station in Brewster located at 876 Route 22, according to Brewster Police. 

The department is now searching for Balil Bashir, of Yonkers, who is estimated to be around 23 years old. Police described him as being a Pakistani man with black hair and brown eyes who weighs around 200 pounds. 

The department also arrested a woman who was involved in the theft on Thursday, June 1. Her name has not yet been released. 

Anyone with information regarding Bashir's whereabouts is asked to call the department at 914-804-8442 or 875-278-1895. Residents who see him are asked to not take any action themselves.
