Norwalk Community College Shows 'The Fitzgerald Family Christmas'

NORWALK, Conn. -- "The Fitzgerald Family Christmas," the 2012 movie depicting the struggles of a fractured family reuniting for the holidays, is the featured film Thursday, Dec. 8, at Norwalk Community College.

The movie screening is part of the college's monthly film series. "The Fitzgerald Family Christmas," starring Edward Burns and Connie Britton, will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8 in the Pepsico Theatre in the East Campus of the college, 188 Richards Ave., Norwalk.

Written and directed by actor Burns, whose other credits include "The Brothers McMullen" and "Newlyweds," the holiday drama showcases a family's struggle with whether to reconnect to their estranged but dying father.
