Volunteers will accept and organize donations for the Library Fair Book Sale and Attic Treasures Sale. Assistance is needed on Saturday Aug. 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 10 a.m.-noon at Onatru Farm Town Park. Adults and teens welcome.

Other ways to help,

  • Vendors and community groups can showcase their items at the fair. For vendor information, email lisawickersham@ymail.com.
  • Sponsors are needed to underwrite costs of the fair. For sponsor information, call Cindy Rubino at 875-9004.
  • Donations are needed, such as books, toys, sporting equipment and attic treasures. The items will be accepted every Saturday in August and on Sept. 10 at Onatru Farm from 10 am to noon on these days only.
  • For Attic Treasures the library is seeking gently used furniture, toys, bicycles, artwork, kitchen and sports equipment - all in working condition.

The fair runs 10 to 4 p.m. and features the book sale, but people will also find attic treasures and toys along with live music and a silent auction.

Local food and gift vendors will line the park, complementing a vintage car show, a corn maze and games for children.

The event is free to Lewisboro residents; non-residents cost $20.

A Fair Pe-Sale with books and sporting equipment takes place on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There also will be an After-Sale of books and Attic Treasure bargains on Sunday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
