A stretch of the Taconic Parkway has reopened after a car fire caused its closure late Friday morning, March 22.
The closure, reported at 10:30 a.m., was northbound at Route 199 in Hopewell Junction and lasted about an hour
It was the second time the Taconic in Dutchess wasclosed during the day. A southbound crash at around 7 a.m. led to both lanes being blocked for about a half-hour in Pleasant Valley.
