There was gridlock on a stretch of I-84 during the evening commute due to a crash that took out one lane for nearly an hour.
The crash, reported around 5 p.m., blocked the left lane on the westbound side at Route 9 (Exit 13) in Dutchess County. The lane reopened just before 6 p.m.
