The closure will occur northbound and southbound in the Town of Fishkill between Elm Street and Merritt Boulevard on Monday, June 3 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. During this time, road crews will be performing construction activities, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to follow posted detours and anticipate potential delays. Be cautious when driving through work zones and pay attention to all traffic control devices, including flaggers and signs.

Motorists are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Those with two or more convictions for speeding violations in a work zone could face consequences including license suspension, in accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005.
