Brand-New Round Of Double Lane Closures Scheduled On Lengthy Stretch Of I-684

Motorists are advised that a new round of double-lane closures throughout the week will cause delays on an 11-mile stretch of I-684.

The closures are scheduled both northbound and southbound, between Exit 3 (Route 22) in Armonk and Exit 6 (Route 35) in Katonah, daily from Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while crews perform maintenance activities, weather permitting.

Motorists should anticipate delays and plan accordingly.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
