MILLBROOK, N. Y. -- Local experts on a variety of family and parenting topics are participating in a series of sessions that make up Family University on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at Millbrook Middle School.
Two 40-minute sessions are scheduled, starting at 7 p.m. at the middle school, 4228 Chapman Road. Each session includes topics such as positive parenting, Internet safety, college and career planning, family wellness, among others.
Special presenters are Steven Rappleyea, mental health specialist, who will talk about positive behavioral interventions and support, and David M. Spinda Jr., an investigator with the New York State Police, who will talk about Internet safety.
