Police Search For Suspect In Burglary At Popular Dutchess Eatery

New York State Police investigators are seeking information as they attempt to locate a suspect who was caught on camera burglarizing a popular area restaurant.

An investigation was launched by State Police in Poughkeepsie on Tuesday, Dec. 31, following a commercial burglary at Fireside Barbecue & Grill on Salt Point Turnpike in Pleasant Valley.

According to police, at approximately 4:15 a.m. on Dec. 31, the suspect entered the restaurant and stole a cash register.

Investigators described the suspect as between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, camouflage pants, and a backpack.
