San Antonio resident Rafael Enrique Sosa III is behind bars after being arrested by officers from the Red Hook Police Department. Sosa was taken into police custody at approximately 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15 on Holt Road in Red Hook.
Sosa, 27, was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice. According to police, the department was notified by New York State Police troopers on patrol that Sosa was working in the area.
Further investigation allowed detectives to identify Sosa as the suspect and it was subsequently confirmed that he was a fugitive who was wanted in Texas.
Following his arrest, Sosa was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail. No return court date has been announced.
