On Wednesday, state police issued an alert for 58-year-old Albert Massicot, who is wanted in Poughkeepsie on a charge of first-degree criminal possession of marijuana dating back to a traffic stop that took place more than four years ago.

According to police, during a traffic stop in January 2013, Massicot was found to be in possession of 11 pounds of marijuana. He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail following his arraignment and the LaGrange Court issued a warrant for his arrest the following month after he failed to appear in court.

Massicot was described as a 5-foot, 8-inch African American man weighing approximately 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts can contact state police troopers at (845) 677-7300 or by emailing crimetip@troopers.ny.gov.
