This Maryland Police Department Is Rolling Out True Crime Podcast

A podcast launched by a Maryland police agency is giving locals a look at true crime in the area.

"The Crime Journal," by the Anne Arundel County Police Department, is made by county police officers themselves.

"We want our community to remain informed and engaged with the goal of providing justice for victims," the department said. "Your tip could bring closure to a grieving family."

The podcast will examine active and cold cases with an occasional glimpse behind the badge.
