The game will be presented by Strategy Leaders -- a business consulting company based in Stamford, Conn.-- on Tuesday Sept. 27 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Marist College’s Student Center, in room 3105.

The Owner’s Game is an interactive simulation in which groups team with established professional mentors to start fictional businesses with the goal of selling them in five years. Throughout the evening, the teams will encounter a variety of challenges, making and losing money in the process. By the end of the event, participants will come away with a better understanding of the real-life challenges facing a business owner, learn to work as a team, and how to accept outside advice.

This event is free and is recommended for aspiring business owners as well as those looking to become better decision-makers.

Registration is required. Visit Hudson Valley Young Professionals' website or call (845) 454-1700, ext. 1000 to RSVP.

M&T Bank, Hudson Valley Division proudly sponsors this event.
