A growing number of Americans believe President Trump has overstepped his authority during his return to the White House, according to the results of a newly released national survey.
The New York Times/Siena College poll of 913 registered voters, conducted from Monday, April 21, to Thursday, April 24, found that 56 percent of respondents say Trumpâs policy changes during his second term have âgone too far.â
The poll paints a troubling picture for the president as he approaches the 100-day mark of his second term.

A new national poll from a top-rated research firm shows public opinion shifting after President Trump nears the three-month mark of his second term.
The latest survey by AtlasIntel, conducted Wednesday, April 10, through Sunday, April 14, among 2,347 US adults, found that 52 percent disapprove of Trumpâs performance, while 46 percent approve â a net approval rating of minus 6 points.
That marks a continued slide from March, when Trumpâs net rating was minus 5 points, and February, when he briefly held a positive rating of plus 0.6.
