Tree Falls, Hits Car On Taconic State Parkway In Hudson Valley A driver was injured after a tree fell onto their vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway in Putnam County.  The incident happened on Friday, March 21 at around 10:45 a.m., when a tree fell from the western shoulder and hit a car driving in the southbound lanes near the Mahopac and Putnam Valley line, according to New York State Police Trooper Krystal Paolicelli.  The driver suffered minor injuries, Paolicelli said.  More information was not immediately available.
