TUCKAHOE, N.Y. Sky Williams scored a game-high 35 points Thursday to lead the Tuckahoe boys basketball team to its 15th consecutive win in an 87-61 victory over visiting Biondi School.
Justin Nolan dropped 17 points and teammates Mark Raymond and Tyler Friere each contributed 10 points for the streaking Tigers, who are poised to defend their Section 1 Class C title later this month when the postseason playoffs begin.
The Tigers led 42-27 at halftime and extended the lead to 25 points after three quarters before emptying the bench in the fourth quarter.
Williams, who has scored at least 26 points in his last six games and has three straight games with more than 30 points, added seven steals and three rebounds. Raymond grabbed 10 rebounds and Shyheim Nixon filled the stat sheet with seven points, nine steals, eight assists and four rebounds for Tuckahoe.
