Officers stopped Bronx resident Moshin Patel, 22, shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, in a parking lot on Kisco Avenue after following him as he was "driving unsafely" on Maple Avenue in Mount Kisco, police said. During the subsequent traffic stop, “an odor of marijuana was detected inside the car,” and the driver and two passengers were taken into custody.

Patel was arrested and charged for driving while ability impaired by drugs and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Following his processing, Patel was released and is scheduled to appear in Mount Kisco Justice Court on July 11 to answer the charges.

Further investigation determined that Patel’s passengers, Yonkers resident Andrew Parker, 23, and Bronx resident Issac Kusi, 23, both had outstanding warrants and they were also arrested.

According to police, Parker was wanted by the NYPD for failing to answer a summons in the Bronx, and Kusi was wanted by the Westchester County Court in connection to a domestic violence case. Both are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
