Deputies stopped East Patchogue resident Matthew Crowley at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, after he failed to signal and was involved in a crash at the intersection of Dovecote Lane and Suffolk Avenue in Commack.

While being investigated by deputies, Crowley refused to perform any Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and refused a breathalyzer.

Crowley was arrested and transported to the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Duty Office, where he again refused to submit to a chemical breath test. He was charged with felony DWI, refusing to submit to a chemical breath test, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
