Port Jervis Hospital Employee Charged With Sexually Assaulting Patient

An employee at Bon Secours Community Hospital was charged with sexually assaulting a psychiatric patient on Tuesday, according to Port Jervis Police.

The arrest is the result of an investigation into a report that a resident receiving in-patient care at the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit was sexually assaulted by Nathan Oglesby, 56, a Mental Health Technician at the facility, authorities said. 

Oglesby, a Middletown resident, was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. Future court dates are pending a Grand Jury evaluation, police said. 

Oglesby was immediately suspended by the hospital.
