Arrest Made In Suspicious Westchester Death

A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the suspicious death of another man last week.

Richard Vincent of Mount Vernon has been charged in connection to the death of Randy Street, 39, who was found in his basement apartment on South Sixth Street around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, by his girlfriend, said  Mount Vernon Police.

Vincent surrendered himself to detectives on Wednesday, March 20, and was charged with manslaughter by the Westchester County District Attorney’s office.

“The Mount Vernon Police Department will not tolerate any acts of violence and disregard for the law in our city," said Chief Richton Ziadie. "The men and women of the Mount Vernon Police Department will work vigorously and diligently to bring to justice anyone committing these types of crimes.”
