EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Mary Theresa O'Connor, known as Polly, a longtime resident of Eastchester, died Saturday, Feb. 27. She was 85.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Thomas O'Connor; daughters, Joan (Bernard) Deitrick and Anne (Edward) Lam; sons, Robert (Donna) O'Connor and Joseph (Phon) O'Connor; grandsons, James, Jackson and Michael O'Connor, Daniel Deitrick, Nathaniel, Jonah and Lucas Lam; granddaughter, Calla Deitrick; and sister, Marjorie Neuherz.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Claire O'Connor; brother, John Harnett; and granddaughter, Vanessa Langer.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 -7 p.m. at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc., Eastchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 9:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx.
