EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Martin Louis Capriotti, Sr., of Eastchester, died Wednesday, Feb. 24. He was 81.
He was born in Hammonton, N.J, to William and Angelina Capriotti. He was raised in Philadelphia, Pa.
He was the owner of Vogue Beauty Salon in Tuckahoe for more than 20 years and was a charter member of the Scarsdale Elks Club.
He was the husband of Elma (Petruccelli) Capriotti; father to Claudia Romano and her husband, Nicholas, Martin Capriotti, Jr. and his wife, Lucia; and Paul Capriotti and his wife, Anna; grandfather of six; great-grandfather of two; and brother to Dr. William Capriotti and his wife, Maria.
Visitation is on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes in Scarsdale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Scarsdale. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
Donations may be made in his memory to the National Parkinson Foundation.
