John A. Crimmins, 22, Of Tuckahoe

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. -- John A. Crimmins, a Tuckahoe resident, died on Sunday, July 4. He was 22.

Crimmins was an avid swimmer, taking part in Swim Across America for cancer research in honor of his uncle Gerard.

He is survived by his parents John Crimmins and Nancy Tinelli, stepfather Mike Yazurlo, twin sister Nicole, and grandparents Anthony and Rose Tinelli.

Visiting hours will be at the Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 9, at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Swim Across America.
