EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Domenico Filardi, of Tuckahoe, died Sept. 16. He was 80.
He was born in Civita, in the Provence of Cosenza, Italy, to Domenica Rimoli and Antonio Filardi.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Luigia (Louise) Ventrella Filardi.
He is also survived by his three sons, Anthony, Joseph, and John Filardi, daughters-in-law Linda, Pamela, and Sharon; and grandchildren Vincent, Matthew, Christopher, Melissa and Nicole.
He is also survived by his brother Demetrio and his wife, Lidia.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Frank and Sandy.
Before his retirement, he worked for General Motors in Tarrytown, and the Eastchester School District.
Visitation is Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church.
Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
