TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – Carmela Mezzoni, a lifelong resident of Tuckahoe, died Jan. 11 in Bronxville. She was 96.
Mezzoni was born March 8, 1916, to Fred and Josephine Femina Silano.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold J. Mezzoni; three children, Marie (Frank) Castellano, Arnold M. (Linda) Mezzoni and Dolores (David) DeCintio; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Jane Mitchell.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, at Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum in Hartsdale.
