Women's Club Donates Defibrillator To Eastchester Seniors

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Eastchester Women’s Club recently presented the town of Eastchester’s Lake Isle Senior Center with a defibrillator for use at the center.

An instructor from Advantage Emergency Devices Inc. was on-site to instruct members and staff in the use of the defibrillator and CPR, according to a press release.

“This is a terrific gift," said Gilda Press, director of Eastchester Senior Programs and Services, in a press release. "We are so thankful to the Eastchester Women’s Club for this wonderful donation.”

The Eastchester Women’s Club donates to local organizations and projects and presents four scholarships to Eastchester and Tuckahoe graduating seniors each year.
