“Our restaurants have embraced this event whole heatedly making it very robust, people will need the two weeks,” said Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Matthew Mandell. “We want people to eat local and with flexible pricing, it will allow both the moderate family style and high-end establishments to find their price point and patrons eager to try their bistro.”

The event is part of an “Eat Local” campaign to promote restaurants in the area and is sponsored by the WWCC. Slice of Saugatuck was in early September.

Over two weeks, 25 eateries, two cocktail bars and a dessert destination will offer prix fixe meals and drinks spanning tastes and price ranges.

Lunches are priced from $15 to $25, dinners from $25 to $35 and where it is offered, brunch will cost $15.

Participating locations are across the Westport and Weston, as well as Saugatuck and Southport.

“Restaurant Week is a very important event for us,” said Marc Murphy, manager of The Spotted Horse. “Not only is it a great marketing tool to introduce new customers to our restaurant, it can be seen as a reward to those customers that enjoy dining here on a regular basis. I only see it as a 'win-win' for both sides of the menu."

The full list of participating restaurants, the meals they are offering and their menus can be found on the Chamber’s website.
