TUCKAHOE, N.Y. -- Westchester is full of watering holes that would please even the nerdiest of beer experts. But only one -- Growlers Beer Bistro -- won the overwhelming majority, making it the "DVlicious Best Craft Beer Bar" in the county.
The Tuckahoe bar, which captured 51 percent of the vote, boasts 16 draft lines, one cask line, and 60-plus bottles and cans.
Owner Eric Lorberfeld said he and his team like to say that Growlers is not a restaurant and it's not a bar. Instead, "It's an intimate, relaxing, hip and jazzy beer-centric bistro/lounge."

The bistro, at 25 Main St, will receive a framed DVlicious certificate as well as the pride in knowing it has "raised the bar" in Westchester County.
