Celebrate Independence Day In Tuckahoe

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – There will be hot dogs, apple pie, fireworks and all things America at the annual Tuckahoe Independence Day celebration this weekend.

Residents are invited to bring family and friends for a free fireworks event on Saturday at the Parkway Oval on Lake Avenue and Bronx Street in the village. Festivities begin at 7 p.m. and the skies will light up promptly at 9:30 p.m. with Grucci Fireworks.

There will be music from the Showtime Dance Band and a collection of food vendors selling a variety of traditional street fare. The Generoso Pope Foundation will again be the principal sponsor of the event, with additional support from local business.
