Officials in Croton-on-Hudson issued an alert on Monday, cautioning that from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., beginning on Tuesday, July 10, there will be contractors performing a restoration of the concrete roadway on Croton Point Avenue over the summer, due to the gas main installation for Metro-North, which was done last summer.
The project is expected to last up to six weeks.
During the scope of the project, officials said that there will be heavy delays and lane closures in the area. Anyone traveling to the Croton-Harmon Train Station has been advised to allow extra time for their commute during the restoration work.
