MONTROSE, N.Y. -- The Hendrick Hudson competition cheerleading team competed in a National Competition in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Saturday and Sunday, and took third runner-up at the competition. 

It was the first time in 18 years that the program has gone to nationals.

The school and community gave them a festive send-off on March 18.
